The Teenage Section

Books and magazines that appeal to young adults and computer workstations are available in our Teen area, which is open the same hours as the rest of the library.

How Children Can Obtain a Library Card

Library borrowing privileges are extended free of charge to children under 14 years of age who reside within the Seymour Public Library District, or whose families own non-corporate property within the district. When applying for a card, a child must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age. This adult must provide formal identification, and need not be either a relative or district resident.
