Goldman Garden dedicated

Marty Goldman, left, and Jay Goldman, right, sons of Mr. Goldman, stand with Seymour Library director Sheila Mikkelson near the plaque in the new garden. The Goldman family donated funds for the new garden and benches.

The family and friends of lifelong Seymour Library patron Charles B. Goldman gathered at the library on Saturday, May  24, to dedicate a garden in his memory. The garden, located just behind the main entrance to the library, features brick pathways, benches, flowers and trees.

Seymour Library director Sheila Mikkelson, left, listens as Hermine Drossos, the library's gardener, talks about plantings in the new Goldman memorial garden.
