Visit our gardens

A tree honoring long-time Seymour Library trustee Thomas Higgins recently was planted near the entrance to Seymour Library. Planting the tree are Peter and Hermine Drossos of Drossos Gardens.

Mr. Higgins was instrumental in the formation of the Seymour Public Library District and served on its board and the Seymour Library Foundation board until retiring this summer.

A garden in memory of lifelong Seymour Library patron Charles B. Goldman, which was dedicated in May 2008, continues to grow and bloom. On your next visit to the library, take a few minutes to relax and enjoy the last flowers of the season.
