Happy May! We're looking forward to seeing our garden grow and blossom, and to a month of reading, discovery and fun. Free entertainment for children and families starts the month off, with Mama Pajama's Playhouse performing at 6 p.m. Friday, May 2, in the Children's Room. Also on First Friday: our teen book group at 6 p.m., with snacks and a discussion of M.T. Anderson's futuristic "Feed," and library services available until 8 p.m.
Also coming this month: a look at rare archival photos of the Seward family at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, a talk on Social Security at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, and an annual meeting that's really more of a celebration for the Friends of Seymour Library at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 21. You'll find dates and times for all of our classes, book groups and Storytimes on our calendar, and if you'd like library news delivered straight to your inbox, sign up with the form at right for our monthly e-newsletter.
