Seymour Library subscribes to Zinio, a service that provides cover-to-cover digital editions of popular magazines. Once you set up your account, you'll be able to stream magazines on your computer or download them onto your smartphone or tablet. No holds are needed, because any number of patrons can download a copy. There's no due date, so you can keep the magazine on your device as long as you want. And there are no limits on the number of magazines you can take out.
The library is subscribing to 24 magazines in 2015: Car and Driver, Country Living, Discover, Do It Yourself, Dr. Oz - The Good Life, Eating Well, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Family Fun, Food Network magazine, HGTV magazine, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, Marie Claire, Martha Stewart Living, Mental Floss, The Nation, National Geographic, The New Yorker, Newsweek, O - the Oprah magazine, Prevention, Rolling Stone, Self, Us Weekly and Vanity Fair.
Some magazines that were available through Zinio in 2014 were dropped because they weren't popular. Limited back issues of those magazines - The Economist, ESPN the Magazine, Esquire, Men's Health, National Geographic Traveler, PC magazine, Shape, Taste of Home and Weight Watchers - are still available through Zinio, and the library subscribes to the print editions.
