Friends Garden Tour & Plein Air Event

The Friends of Seymour Library will host a Garden Tour & Plein Air painting fundraising event on Sunday, July 9, from 12 to 4 p.m. in the historic and picturesque City of Auburn. The tour includes seven private gardens and three public gardens.

The tour will begin at Hoopes Park, where a brochure/map will be provided to all ticket holders, and ends at Seymour Library with music, refreshments, a plein air art exhibit, and drawings for prizes.  Pre-sale sale tickets will be available to purchase online and at Seymour Library on June 1st.

Artists will have the rare opportunity to paint in any of the public and private gardens on the tour, culminating in a wet paint exhibition in the Seymour Library garden where a “People’s Choice” award winner will be selected to receive a $100 gift card from Nash’s Framing & Art.
