Auburn is filled with beautiful historic houses, and if you live in one of them, or just want to know about one of them, the History Room can help you out. The class "Researching Your House's History," will be offered at three times in July: at 6 p.m. Monday, July 28; 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 30; and 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 31. Classes are small to allow time for individual help. Registration is required; call or sign up at the Main Desk.
This month's Learn to Crochet class features a fun project - a crocheted necklace. The class is at the library at 1 p.m. Saturday. New members to the group always are welcome. For this project, bring a small crochet hook (E, F, G), yarn (Red Heart is good for beginners), and a button or bead.
Seymour Library will be closed Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5, for the Independence Day holiday, but you can browse, place holds and download books any time - just click on the online catalog at the right. Enjoy the holiday weekend!
