You're invited to a party!
Seymour Library is the place to "bee" in July and August. This summer's
theme is "Catch the Reading Bug." Creatures of all kinds will be flying,
fluttering, hopping and skipping to our events!
The fun begins with our annual Summer Reading Kick-Off Party, from 10 a.m. to noon
Tuesday, July 8. The party will feature live music by Bob Lyna, a
visit by Abner Doubleday, games and refreshments. The party launches a summer full of Wednesday craft classes, Thursday Storytimes and our children's performance series on Tuesdays in July.
We'll also have reading logs available for children. Children who return
their reading logs by the end of August will be entered in a prize
drawing. The grand prizes are two new bikes - one for a boy and one for
a girl - donated by Five Star Bank in Auburn. Click
here for a calendar that includes events for children.
